Well for most of you, you know that in this picture I am HURTING!!! REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD!!!! I hope that I wear pain well because this is graduation day/ getting out of the hospital from surgery day. HAPPY GRADUATION ME!!!!! ( I can honestly say that as of Sep. 11, 2013 I am one hundred percent healed)

Europe Didn't happen this year but Pagosa Spring Colorado did :)

While I was not allowed in the water when I had moved to Grapevine for a little while I spent TONS of time out at Eagle Mountain Lake!!!! If you know me the lake is my heaven on earth...

I have also become the god mother to Zaydn's new little sister Emma

I have done many of projects with Tina's Daughter Jess, including "making her work" at the fish farm

I think that is about it... these days I am in Big Spring working for La Quinta... still looking for a second job or this oil field dispatching job that I am hoping gives me an interview :) fingers crossed that is I am granted an interview I knock their socks off and they hire me :) any who that is about all I know .... Be blessed and enjoy the little things <3

Well I just don't know

Time seems to be passing me by these days along with the summer, which hasn't felt like summer at all thanks in part to the surgery I had back in May. The whole thing started back in March around Spring Break and given that August is rounding the corner I have been fighting this thing for about 5 months now :( At one point I thought I had healed up but I spoke all to soon because the thing came back and opened up my wound again, now we are back on round 4 of Antibiotics with a Dr. appointment on Friday.

In other news I have made it to the big city and started the babysitting gig, I have been at it for almost a month now and will continue till school starts. I will be ready for school to start! They say never to wish time away but I miss home, I miss my family, I miss my dog, and I miss my friends.

Here are some Good memories and new experiences of the summer :)

Andrew, Dawson, Kelsi, and I. Their family came up to see me on the way to their family reunion. We met up at the Grapevine Mall... PS THAT PLACE IS HUGE!!!!!

Road Tripped Down to Fredericksburg for the family reunion. Our small little group holding down the fort for Pawsie's Side <3

Dawson going off the slide at the lake. ( he is the kiddo I am babysitting) How he got tired of going to the lake, I will never know, I could spend the rest of my days out there and be in utter bliss.

Mom and I at the lake on the Fourth of July

One of many pictures I have of the fireworks over the lake. We watched them from the back of the house boat

Here is my first gutting of shrimp. I do not eat them there for I had no idea how to gut one and so I called my mamma and gave it a go. I received great reviews on my shrimp dish... I put chicken in mine :)

First time making bread in a bread machine.... Way to fancy for me...

Here is where I need your help with some prayers. This my friends is the beautiful baby Emma, most of you have probably noticed that her big brother Zaydn is my god son and their mom Shelby is my best friend. This little gal was born 5 weeks early and in simpler terms her throat was not connected to her stomach or her wind pipes. So she had to have surgery. While she is doing better these days and surgery went well she still isn't out of the woods yet, she needs to pass a swallow test to make sure there are no holes in the connections they made. Also the little darling was probably ready to go home or something because she ripped out her draining tube so they have to go in and look to make sure she didn't mess anything up. So all prayers are needed for a good report and a great recovery. Always remember every prayer sent up is one that has to be answered <3

The Color Run-Austin 2013

I believe the date was May the 4th that we loaded up Shirley and hit the road to Austin. The Goal, to run in the Color Run 2013.

A little back group on the Color Run, if you are not familiar with it, is a 5K fun run/walk. Along the course you are doused with different colors of powder. It smells like flour but tastes AWFUL!!! The support cancer research and each color represents a different type of cancer. There is no time and you go at your own pace. At the end there is a stage with music and several booths with information, product, and merchandise. There catch phrase, if you will, is " The Happiest 5K on the Planet" and that my friend is a truth!

This year we tried to have a team consisting of Whit, Megan, Nate, and I but Nate dropped out and Whit invited her friend Bre. We all had fun and enjoyed getting covered in color! Here are some before and afters :)

Graduation and a hurting tail bone...

Graduation is only days away, after almost 5 years of work I couldn't be more ready! I still have a couple of hurtles to cross; correct Candidate Work Sample, and a Statistics Final tomorrow, WISH ME LUCK!!  I am super excited for whats to come although a little nervous... I am moving off to the big city the following Monday. I will be watching my cousin Sarah's son Dawson. Lets hope the city is ready for me and I am ready for the city.

P.S. that is Mawsie's Graduation picture!!!! I wish I was just a pretty as her! Such a Lady!

In other news the spot on my tail bone is back :/ I am none to thrilled! The first time it was terrible and they found out it was Antibiotic resistant Staff, when I went in they said I was on the verge of being contaminated... thats not the word they used but basically I was running 103 fever and my body was going down hill fast, I seem to have a gift for going in right before I am about to have to fight for life... One Summer I became unresponsive due to sever dehydration... Almost hit a coma..... No I am taking a pro active stance to it but putting pills in my body drives me nuts.

My aggravation comes from the fact that the first time I had this infection they put me on 20 days of the same antibiotics after they got it out and packed it so it will heal. This time it shows up and starts making a knot and they put me on 10 days in hopes that it will make it go away.....

1.Can some one please explain to me how Antibiotics are suppose to get rid of a pretty good size bump that already exists with an Antibiotic resistant infection

2. How is 10 days going to cure something if 20 days didn't get fully get rid of it the first time

Hopefully God makes this miracle work because the logic just isn't adding up for me. Granted 10 days of meds is a lot better than going under the knife.

I freaked out driving to the docs this afternoon because going under scares the living daylight out of me. You hear all the time about the Anastasia wearing off in the middle or since it is two parts; (1 to make you not move and 2 not to feel pain) that I will feel the pain and not be able to say something.  To me that seems likely since one shot at the dentist doesn't numb my tooth, it took two shots to get my toe cut on, and the shot he gave me the first time I had this spot didn't keep me from feeling the stab. Believe me I know the difference between pressure relief and being stabbed despite what the Doc says.

I'm just ready to be off this road and on to better things....

P.S. We ran in the Color Run this past weekend Pictures to come soon!!!

Comfort

It by far has been the hardest most frustrating semester, 4 months, of my whole college life. If I had to do it all over I would change the location of my student teaching and pray for a smoother ride. That being said I do not regret the things I cannot change and like my very wise and awesome Aunt B told me you don't get diamonds out of the mind without roughing it up first.

I do know there is a greater plan for me and this is how I get to it but to find comfort in it all is almost 100% impossible most days. So like most I have turned to food, I will say that most of it hasn't been junk but there has been some Salted Carmel Gelato in the kitchen at the same time something health is on the stove and if a bite or two has gone missing out of the bucket it may have been me... just saying

I get most of my recipes from pinterest. If you do not have a pinterest or know what it is let me just tell you that it is probably a good thing.... Not that it is bad but it is ADDICTING!!! It is a website full of pictures of everything from food to travel to crafts and clothes as well as everything in between. If you were to look at my boards ( the thing you save all the things you like too) you would think I had a library comparable to Beauty and the Beast, Crafted everyday, Cooked homemade three meals a day, worked out for hours and had the latest fashion in my closet.

The two newest recipes I have tried have been Soft pretzels like the ones in the mall and a pie.... Lets see if you can guess which one I am better at... Ill give you a hint it rhymes with lie....
