Well, life has a way of tell you what you need and what you don't need and I guess life has decided that I didn't need Hoopty any more. What a sad and scary day.... heres is the full story
My friend Derek was deploying Tuesday so Meg and I had decided that we were going to go see him off since no one would be there and we just could not let that happen. So Wednesday night I have left Odessa and headed to Canyon to pick her up a trade from the Hoopsters to Honey to start the 9 hour drive to Kansas. We had made it there safe and had a ton of laughs and quite a few tears :'( but all was good and we left Kansas at 6 and cried all the way back. We had reached Canyon at 4 a.m and I had gotten in Hoopty to head back to Odessa for class at 9. I was an hour or so outside of Lubbock doing just fine listening to my songs and chewing my Orbits when it was like someone had snapped their fingers and I just passed out.. yep in basic terms I feel asleep at the wheel :( Ran through the bar ditch and all that scary stuff and when I finally got control of my car Hoopty's engine was on fire :( It was pretty scary stuff but i got the fire out and called Papa and he dispatched my Rescuers, Mommy and Uncle Jeff. They came and towed Hoopty back home. Thank goodness I didn't hurt any one That was my biggest fear... but looks like I have to find another car.. maybe this one will have a cool name and a RADIO!!! oh how bitter sweet life is sometimes ...

At least we had pictures :) I wish him well and that he is safe, he has a good battle buddy named Hull that has his back so my worries are lifted just a little... I got to meet him when we went they assured me that they had each others back.... 6 months till they get a break and can come home for a little R&R :D
Girl, I am glad you are alright! That could have been really bad. Sleep will come, whether you want it or not once your body hits a certain point. Please no more all night driving escapades!!! Love you. Aunt Tanna
