Love is never ugly.....

So my not so new but newly re-fed addiction is reading these days although I find that I get nothing done like I should I just cant help but read... The bad part though is I don't "enjoy them" meaning that instead of take my time I get hooked and MUST KEEP READING!!!!! I read and walk I read and talk I read and sleep and read and weep ( I had to finish the rhyme hehe) but you get the picture....

My Newest Finished Book is Beastly by Alex Flinn:
It was a modern twist on Beauty and the Beast. The basic story line if you will is that what makes your beautiful is not whats on the outside its whats on the inside that counts. But I do have a bone to pick with this author. As you will notice on the cover of the book it shows the guy all tattooed up ( this is the movie cover, yep there was a movie made from this book and it was good too) but in the book he is a hairy beast, now why would you publish this book in this cover and still have the guy be hairy ??? Beats me but I still loved the book  :)

Now to pick a new book to start reading I have two that are on my shelves at the moment

This one is, Before I fall by Lauren Oliver from what I gather its about a girl who gets several chances to relive the last day of her life, in which she discovers the mystery of her death and the value of the things she had.
Then there is The Help by Kathryn Stockett and it's the one I probably truly want to read next but this two was made into a movie so I have been holding of reading it until I see the movie. I absolutely hate reading the book before watching the movie just because I will sit through the whole movie going that wasnt in the book thats wrong and blah blah blah. But the lingering temptation to open this book is getting to me ..... Should I give in????? I have talked to many people and they say it is sooooo good and I should read it so they do not help my temptation to explore the pages of this book......

Any who that is all that is truly new maybe a trip to book rehab is needed if I can't squeeze my homework in sometime heheh

Work is still going great and the bio lab is picking up soon I may report a Duckling has been born, some of my coworkers found a duck egg and we have been incubating it, he should be born around October 10th if he makes it. He is in there but lately he has been looking more like a blob and less like a growing duck but we are not duck experts so we just keep having hope and faith as our love and excitement grows for this little guy.... keep your fingers crossed he makes it, it will be sad if he doesn't.....

  1. The reading addiction is hereditary. LOL! I say read The Help. I have a hard time with movies after reading the books... they are never as good to me. But, others I hear say that the movie sticks to the book. I probably won't see the movie, so if you do, let us know what you think. Good luck with the duck egg situation! hugs and love... xoxoxoxo
