I'm more than ready for this student teaching/college stuff to be done. It has been one long semester full of more downs than ups. I'm ready to get out of this small town drama stuff for a good long while!
Since when did the things people say have anything to do directly to you if it wasn't directly said to you. I also think it is messed up that as an educator I know have to keep my mouth shut on every little thing because it might make someone upset. Well, what happened to my right of freedom of speech??? Apparently it's gone and I didn't even say anything wrong or mean to anyone. :/ I don't know I am questioning this profession more and more every time the road takes a deeper dip with no rise. I know that a diamond is formed out of the rough but for crying out loud I'm 3 weeks from being done with this and I haven't seen one week that hasn't had me in trouble, doing something wrong, something wrong happening, things out of my control, you name it chances are I have seen it.
At this point it is as if a greater message is trying to come through that this is not for me. At least that is how I feel.
I keep praying and hoping that through it all I am pointed in the direction of my purpose...
I just cant help but sit and wonder:
The founding fathers gave us the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. So when are we going to stop getting so offended over stuff and except each other for better or worse. We can never over come oppression, poverty, and poor education if we cannot communicate openly.
