Adventures in Love and Canoeing :)

Looks like there's Love in her eyes to me :) Congratulations Kayla and Jeremy!
Ahhh love was in the air this past weekend as I stood behind my friend Kayla as she got married. The wedding was beautiful and thank goodness the weather held up so she could have it outside like she wanted. Her theme was sunflowers and roses with the colors being brown and yellow or as we were informed when we went looking for dresses in June, Canary and Truffle. It was amazing and we all had great fun. Sister was the maid of honor and I was a bridesmaid and needless to say I am so glad we got them down the aisle and now we can just sit back and watch them grow together :)

On a totally different note, school is back in full swing and it has been a blast. In my Adventure Education class we have been learning how to canoe in our school pool and it has been a blast. I am really good a the stern and at the bow until we have to bring the canoe back to port parallel then I have some trouble hehe. But today we had to swamp and rescue our canoe which is basically were we dumped ourselves out and then had to turn the canoe back over and climb back in. There were two things wrong with that today one of which was the water was FREEZING since how its been rainy and cool here and two I was in a bunch of teeny tiny girls who had to counter balance my weight. I am so glad to report that we were successful in getting everyone back into the canoes but that in its self was an experience. We also got to play games were we had to collect things out of the pool and take them to her  after we traded places between the stern and the bow while still out in the middle of the pool. The games had brought out a lot of friendly competition between my class mates and I and we had a TON of laughs. Next class is our last day in canoes and I am kind of sad, I really do enjoy the water and canoeing is fun, but I am going to try to remember to take pictures since how I have left it in my bag the last three times.
