Oh how wonderful it is to be able to sleep in a bed, even if its not as comfortable as the one at home is with its beautiful head board and sheets my mama has hung out on the line because she knows it is my favorite :) but oh how terrible it is to be back in the city.
 
     Oct.1-3 a group of students in my adventure ed class and I went camping to Ft. Davis as part of our education, and they say college stinks, ha! You just have to know what field to go into :) but any who we ended up over night camping in tents at the state park and it was a BLAST!!! I have never laughed that hard in a while. We even named the vans ours was called the Fun-V and it consisted of our professor and six students including me, while the other van was called the Humdrum-V because when we asked how the ride was they said they didn't have as much fun as our van did.  So from that point on people were racing to get into the Fun-V and we were all trying to keep our spots.

    It was quite the Adventure though, we hiked eight miles, went to a star gazing party, and tried to stay clear of the javelinas, ( which for the most part was a failed attempt at night hehe someone left the marshmallows out) I could write a novel out of all the laughs we shared as a group and the story of Ft. Davis but the summary of them all ends with the trip just bringing us all together, we all are a lot closer and know things that you wouldn't know just by spending and hour and fifteen minute in a classroom where the teacher does most of the talking.
