| This is Uncle Jeff "towing" Hoopty home after the incident... I am so thankful to have family like mine... Papa was the dispatcher and Uncle Rupert and Mamma came to the rescue.. And Thank you to the lady who stopped and gave me water and her number incase I needed anything :) |

| The story behind this is: Meg Lee decided that is was a good idea to stick the remote control to the radio in a cubby spot that at the time we did not know did not have a back... Well the remote fell into the whole and ended up in the space behind the steering wheel.... this is Meg Lee after she handed me the remote and was trying to get up :D |

| The car with no name and Hoopty: Poor Hoopster doesn't get to go on and more adventures... but we had a good run... And now its time for the car with no name ( Any suggestions fill free to lend them to me) and I will set out and have some adventures of our own.. No worries Hoop You will never be forgotten :( So that is how I brought in the new year... I got a new car.... Thank goodness because school starts Monday :) I am ready but I sure am going to miss home.... Nothing compares to the warmth and love of my family and I sure will miss them.... But we had a fun Christmas and brought in the New Years.. Our next big adventure together is Spring Break! I will be counting the days... as of 5:20 pm 1/4/11 Ive got 65 days :D (give or take a few because I have no clue when spring break actually starts :) ) |

ReplyDeleteMy first car was a hoopty, too, but her name was Nellie. Lots of stories about Nellie - just like your hoopty. My next car was a white one, too, but she never got a name. None of them did until Mini Pearl. So sad Mini had to go, but Humphrey (the current car) is better suited to tote Alex's loot. It's funny how cars really have a personality of their own, isn't it?
